OUR EVENING'S HOST:
MONICA PEARSON

Held at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center — at the birthplace of PMI — Legacy in Motion will bring together chapter leaders, members, alumni, partners, sponsors, students, and special guests for an evening that celebrates where we began, how far we have come, and the future we are continuing to shape.

The evening will be hosted by legendary Atlanta media personality Monica Pearson, whose voice, presence, and Atlanta legacy will help guide a meaningful program of reflection, recognition, and celebration.

Guests will hear from an exceptional speaker lineup, including Lee Lambert, PMI Fellow, co-founder of PMI, and widely recognized as the “Godfather of the PMP,” who will share reflections on PMI’s origins and the evolution of the profession. The program will also feature Ike Nwankwo, Chair of the PMI Global Board of Directors, offering a global leadership perspective, and Chris Carter, Academic Program Director for Project Management and Professor of the Practice at Georgia Tech, helping connect the celebration to Georgia Tech’s academic and professional legacy.

Throughout the evening, Golden Threads will connect the people, milestones, relationships, and defining moments woven through PMI Atlanta’s 45-year journey. The celebration will also include an alumni & allies homecoming moment — welcoming past leaders, longtime members, valued partners, sponsors, students, and friends of the Chapter who helped build PMI Atlanta and will help carry it forward.

Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner beginning at 7:00 PM, engaging presentations, recognition moments, networking, music, and dancing in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Entrée selections will be collected at a later date.

Join us as we honor the legacy, celebrate the connections, and continue the motion toward PMI Atlanta’s next chapter.
